Over at The Beauty of Sufficient Grace we're supposed to share our experience after we heard the news that changed our lives. I think what I shared in my earlier post this week covers this topic. Remember, I'm kind of combining the Walking With You with the pregnancy loss Bible study I'm also doing. Please click on the Walking With You button on my sidebar if you'd like to participate in this program with Kelly.
If you have any questions or comments for me, please leave them in my comment section! I pray that my story and words and Kelly's stories and words will be a comfort to you. I believe God wants me to help other moms who are suffering due to the loss of a precious little one. Bless you!

Thanks so much Leslie. I kind of had a late start in getting my post up. Hopefully it won't mess everyone up. I am so excited that you are starting a Moms in Touch group! I have prayed in a Moms in Touch Group for our local schools since Timothy (now 15) was in Kindergarten! And, it has helped carry me through so much as a mother. In fact, I prayed about some of the very concerns I shared on the blog this week with my Moms in Touch prayer partners. You will be so blessed and comforted by this group. There is something about joining our prayers with other moms...something comforting, beautiful, and a binding together. Moms in Touch is a wonderful ministry...and God has used it mightily in my life. He hears all of our prayers...great is His faithfulness.
ReplyDeleteIf a memorial for your baby is something you would want to do in the future, it can be a private event. I actually had 2 memorials that were both private for my Jordan, who I lost at 12 wks. It doesn't matter whether you were 8 weeks or if you were full-term. It was your baby regardless of how far along you were. It isn't silly IMO. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you have taken your pain to a further level and which is to write about it, to process it.. as with any loss, healing has a timetable of its own as i have come to realise myself. But in so doing, we not only find our own but we touch others along with it too.

I think it's wonderful how you are reaching out to other women, and helping them out, sharing in the same pain, reaching for God. God Bless.
